Ari Lennox
Courtney Shanade Salter, better known as Ari Lennox, is an American musician and singer hailing from Washington, D.C., who was the first woman to be signed to J. Cole's Dreamville Records record label. The first single, Pho which was released on 21 October 2016 was released via Dreamville Records. She began to gain notoriety. Shea Butter Baby is her debut album. It came out in May 2019. Ari Lennox published her first music on the internet in 2012. She dropped five singles in 2013 and Five Finger Discount in 2013 and Ariography EP in 2013. She continued to upload her songs online throughout 2014 and released her own single Bound. Her music was also featured on Omen's Elephant Eyes which was released from Sweat It Out, on July 21, 2015. Her music was circulating around the Dreamville team, as J. Cole wanted her to join him in creating some possible references for Rihanna. The 8th of December was the day she reported that she had hired by Dreamville Records. On the release album
